G2E is the premier gaming expo and conference in the United States. Held every November in Las Vegas, the show attracts thousands of representatives from casinos and cardrooms from around the world. COPAG once again had great success at this event, with many new gaming customers joining the COPAG family.

COPAG celebrated its centennial in 2008. Few companies have lasted this long. Fewer have been guided by the same family since day one. This experience, handed down through the generations, enables COPAG to transfer the know-how that delivers an exceptional product.

Albino Gonçalves, a graphic designer, founded the company in 1908 in the city of São Paulo. In the beginning, the company only imported playing cards. In 1918, however, COPAG started manufacturing its own playing cards. Today, from its modern factory in the free-trade-zone of Manaus, COPAG manufactures a wide range of playing cards using state-of-the-art equipment and the finest materials imported from Europe. Among the various prizes won by COPAG over the years, the 139 deck was awarded 1st prize at the International Convention of Deck Manufacturers held in London.

Experience is one reason why COPAG is trusted by some of the largest casinos in Las Vegas. But millions of card players also know that COPAG is human. We always have emphasized social responsibility, whether by supporting shelters for sick children in Brazil, where our factory is located, or by raising awareness about our environment.
